What is NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.
Health Sense Psychology and Wellness provides therapeutic support to enhance all aspects of our participants’ lives by helping them overcome mental barriers. Our aim is to support our participants as they set their own goals and achieve them.
Our practitioners can also connect with the participant’s carers and support coordinators to assist with the mental health challenges of daily living. This would include things such as shared living, life transitions, community participation, development of life skills, and social and economic participation.
We tailor our counselling sessions to deliver therapeutic support based on the participant’s individual needs and are guided by what is outlined in the NDIS plan under capacity supports.
